Frequently Asked Questions
Everything homeowners ask us before booking a free measurement.
Is this the same as Christmas lights?
No. EverLume is a permanent architectural lighting system — installed once, on your roofline, and controlled from an app year-round in any of 16 million colors. It's built for daily use, not a seasonal decoration you put up and take down.
Will it damage my roof?
No. The fixtures mount to your drip edge with a clip system — there are no roof penetrations, no screws into shingles, and nothing that would void a roofing warranty.
How long do the lights last?
Our commercial-grade LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours of use, and the full installation is backed by a 5-year parts-and-labor warranty.
What does it cost?
Every home's roofline is different, so we don't quote a price sight-unseen. We start with a free, no-obligation measurement and give you an exact written number the same day — not a range that changes once someone's on your roof. Most homes fall between $4,200 and $7,000+ depending on linear footage.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, through our financing partner Enhancify, with plans available after your quote is confirmed.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day, typically 4 to 8 hours, depending on the size and complexity of the roofline.
Can I control the lights myself?
Yes — the app is yours from day one. You can pick any color, set schedules for holidays or game day, or just leave it on your everyday warm-white setting. We walk you through the full app setup before we leave your property.
What happens if something stops working?
You're covered by a 5-year full parts-and-labor warranty. Call us and we'll come back out — no separate service fee for a covered issue.
Do you serve my area?
We currently serve the Central Valley of California (Fresno, Clovis, Fowler, and surrounding areas) and Tellico Village, Tennessee. Use our free estimate form to confirm you're in range — we'll let you know right away if you're outside our service area.
What if I sell my home?
The lighting system stays with the house and typically becomes a selling point — buyers can see it's a real, professionally installed fixture, not a rental or seasonal add-on.
Do you also do electrical or solar work?
That's handled by our sister company, Redcat Electric. If you need electrical, solar, or battery backup work, let us know and we'll connect you.
